Ruby Mountains

September 2004

Another Photo on the Angel Lake shoreline.  Once again, the East Humboldts are an example of a mountain range that is public wilderness, but surrounded by private land with two access points to the whole range.  All along the foothills the land is fenced and posted with no trespassing signs.  However, once on "public land" the ranchers cattle dominate the landscape.
