My name is Larry Morales and I live in Layton Utah.  I'm a software engineer that relocated here in December of 2000 to be in an area with plenty of outdoor opportunities.

Turn ons include:
  • Hiking, mountain biking, camping, backpacking, canyoneering, caving, trail running, photography, geeking out on computers, rock climbing, and drinking Bitch Creek beer.
Turn offs include:
  • ATV's, snowmobiles, and jetskis.
OK, I know these machines are probably fun to ride, but, from what I've seen, most of the people who ride them could really use the exercise of hiking.  The noise is obnoxious and, although most people stick to established routes, there are a few who feel obligated to ride over every inch of terrain possible causing erosion, destroying vegetation, and animal habitat.
