The Cedar Mountains are an isolated and desolate area, but I like these kind of places.  Even on Memorial Day there were only two vehicles that came through this mountain pass.  

There are wild horses that are escaped pack animals from way back when that have established their own herd.  Several were sighted and they look pretty cool, but they impact the land like no other animal with their droppings and erosive network of trails.  

On this peak though, as it should be,  this lizard is king of all he surveys.
